He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ruegemer of Sauk Centre; his children, Timothy Ruegemer (Marion) of Villard, Dorine Laecken (Virgil) of Sauk Centre, Rita Maus (Dennis) of Osakis, Anne Wiener (Alphonse) of Osakis, Peter Ruegemer (Anita) of Villard, Helen Duchene (Kevin) of Villard, Teresa Baert (Jeffrey) of Foley, Joseph Ruegemer of Wheaton, Louise Malecha (Todd) of Villard, Martha Wiener (Gregory) of Sauk Centre, Paul Ruegemer (Michele) of Browerville, John Ruegemer (Beth) of Villard, Thomas Ruegemer (Cynthia) of Holdingford and Michael Ruegemer (Jennifer) of Hayden, Idaho; and his siblings, Melvin Reugemer, Edwin Ruegemer, Lorraine Hoffman and Lawrence Ruegemer (Mary). He is also survived by 97 grandchildren; over 140 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Sylvester's family would like rosaries and masses to be said for the salvation of his soul.
