He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilding Nelson and Olive Nelson (Hazelquist); his children, Peter Nelson (Jennifer) of Sauk Centre, Jamila Drevlow (Aaron) of Cottage Grove and Ryan Nelson (Siobhan) of Columbus, Indiana; and his parent-in-law Johnny.
He is survived by: his wife Dianna Nelson of Sauk Centre; and his sisters, Karen Nelson, Mary Nelson of Minneapolis, Lisa, Irene and Ramona.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
