He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Eagle and Mabel Hills (Merfeld); his siblings, Daniel "Dick", Merle Hills, David Hills and Betty Claassen; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Hills and Ardell Hills.
He is survived by: his spouses, Ivalene Hvezda and Nancy Hills of Sauk Centre; his children, Tom Hills (Renae) of Alexandria, Julie Trushenski (Larry) of Burfordville, MO, Jodi Hills (Dominique Orsolini) of Aix and France; his grandchildren, Josh Hills (Betsy) of Alexandria, Rachel Buse (Ryan) of Alexandria and Jesse Trushenski (Jim Bowker) of Bozeman, MT; his great grandchildren, Quinn of Alexandria, Charly of Alexandria, Layne Hills of Alexandria, Brody of Alexandria and Micah Buse of Alexandria; and his siblings, Phyliss Kirwin (Ken) of New Brighton, MN and Lawrence Hills (Irene) of Albertville, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Harvest Community Church in Sauk Center or Samaritan's Purse.
