Shirley Swenson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Swenson (Sauk Centre, Minnesota), born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on October 24, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Nix and Esther Nix (Ames); her husband Donald Swenson; her son Tommy Swenson; her grandson Matthew Folland; and her siblings, Agnes Hromyak and Larry Nix.

She is survived by: her children, Cathy Folland (Paul) of St. Paul, Christy Felling (John) of Sauk Centre, John Swenson (Sheri) of Sioux Falls, Charlene Olson (Michael) of Bemidji and Tim Swenson (Gayle) of Sauk Centre; and her sister Audrey Hein of Little Falls. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Svea Lutheran Church or CentraCare Health Nursing Home in Sauk Centre.
