It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose Merten of Sauk Centre, Minnesota, born in West Union, Minnesota, who passed away on May 29, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Weiss and Emma Weiss (Marthaler); her husband Anthony "Tony" Rudolph Merten; her son Dale; and her brother Joseph Weiss.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Fiedler (Harold) of Avon, Rosemary Cabanilla (Jaime) of Ellicott City, Michael (Dorene) of Sauk Centre, Carol Williams (Elbert) of Rochester, David (Rose) of Manitowoc and Patricia Mehrer (Patrick) of Glyndon; and her brother Frank Weiss of Virginia, Minnesota.. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Catholic Church for Masses.
