He is survived by: his sister Eileen; his children, Paul (William Powell) of Indianapolis, Kari (Jim Cole) of Bemidji, Ann VanHoose (Chris) of Houston and Derek Pickett (Ericka) of Bemidji; his grandchildren, Ellen, Rachel, Ethen, Colten, Trace and Tripp; and his great grandchildren, Winter and Lira.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Bemidji Baptist Church.
