He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Wensman and Rose Wensman (Bueckers); his siblings, Melvin, Ado, Dennis and Arlene; and his sisters-in-law, Marcy Wensman and Mary Lou Wensman.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wensman; his children, Debra K. Wensman (Steven Schmidgall), Steve Wensman (Gretchen) and Tamara Marthaler (David); his siblings, Linus Wensman, Carol Mott (David), Lois DesParte (Mike) and Cynthia; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Wensman and Pat Wensman. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services Sauk Centre (620 Beltline Rd, Sauk Centre, MN 56378). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials to the Sauk Centre United Veterans Honor Guard, Fairway Pines Senior Living Center, and "Family Wishes" are preferred.
