We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2021, at the age of 93, Robert Schmidt of Sauk Centre, Minnesota, born in Freeport, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Schmidt and Mary Schmidt (Schaffer); his son Robert Schmidt, Jr.; his grandson Andrew Schmidt; and his siblings, Ann Gettel, Frank Schmidt, Clem Schmidt, Norman Schmidt, Marion Johnson, Hilda Gorman, Katherine Schmidt, Agnes Schraft and Stephen Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Schmidt of Sauk Centre; and his children, Charlene Messerich (Steve) of Grey Eagle, Kenneth Schmidt (Laurie) of Sturgeon Lake and Jaime Schmidt (Laura) of Big Lake. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
