He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tegels and Cecelia Tegels; and his brother John "Jack" Tegels. He is survived by: his wife Joan Tegels of Sauk Centre; and his children, Jason Tegels (Holly) of Sauk Centre, Angie Massey (Kevin) of Becker, Gary Tegels of Duluth, Neva Volkman (Jason) of Little Sauk and Eric Tegels (Amanda) of Sauk Centre.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
