He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict Cavegn and Evelyn Cavegn (Wilson). He is survived by: his wife Linda Dironca; his children, Rusty Cavegn and Tina Cantrell (Kent); his grandchildren, Agatha, Isac, Cassandra, Natasha, Brendon, Dylan and Dominique; and his sisters, Evelyn Cavegn and Pauline Inott. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
His favorite past time was getting out on the bike with Linda whether it was cross-country trips with their friends or bike runs for charity.
