Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Oscar Rueckert of Sauk Centre, Minnesota, born in West Union, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 98, on May 13, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Rueckert and Caroline Schostag Rueckert; his wife Arvilla Rueckert; his daughter Carol Rueckert; his son-in-law Kent McMeen; and his granddaughter Jennifer Lynn Scheurer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jane Scheurer (James), Judy McMeen and Candy Freeman (Garry); his son-in-law Jim Merwin; and his grandchildren, Jeff Scheurer, Justin Scheurer, Jeremy Scheurer, Jessica Scheurer, Buffy Hilton, Heather Cooke, Erik Freeman and Kirsten Freeman. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sauk Centre American Legion Post 67 where Oscar was a member for 75 years.
