Luella Middendorf Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luella Middendorf of Sauk Centre, Minnesota, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Leukam and Hilda Leukam (Lieser); her husband Joseph Middendorf; her son Glen Middendorf; her grandson Dustin Middendorf; and her siblings, Ralph Leukam, Delma Gruber and Esther Weirens.
She is survived by: her children, Barb Massmann (Mark) of Long Prairie, Ron Middendorf (Cindy) of Melrose, Paul Middendorf (Bonnie) of Browerville, Kurt Middendorf (Amy) of Long Prairie, Keith Middendorf (Jennifer) of Sauk Centre, Jeff Middendorf (Tina) of Sauk Centre and Lisa Goerdt (Steve) of Melrose; her daughter-in-law Denise Middendorf of Long Prairie; her sister Alice Klaphake of Melrose; and her siblings-in-law, Irene Leukam and Leander Weirens. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren with one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (304 Sinclair Lewis Ave, Sauk Centre, MN 56378).
