It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Funk of Sauk Centre, Minnesota, who passed away on November 3, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Austing and Rogaria Austing (Stoerman); her brothers, Ervin, Rich and Mel Austing; and her brother-in-law Jim Klaphake.
She is survived by: her former husband Jerry; her child Bar (Restaurant); her boyfriend Larry Marthaler of Sauk Centre; her sons, Jason Funk (Holly) of Park Rapids and Josh Funk (Sylena) of Woodbury; her grandchildren, Logan, Emily, Samantha and Boston Funk; her siblings, Carol Stangler (Maurie) of Melrose, Patty Klaphake of Albany, Linda Beuning (Bernie) of St. Cloud, Ron Austing (Toni) of St. Rosa, Marilyn Breth (Jerry) of St. Cloud and Karen Mueller (Dave) of St. Rosa; and her sisters-in-law, Dorts Austing of Freeport, Carole Austing and Judy Austing.
