He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dols and Anna Dols (Rademacher); and his siblings, Rosella, Raymond, Ewald, Florian, Virgil, Germain, Lawrence and Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Dols of Sauk Centre; his sister Teresa Pelzer of St. Cloud; his children, Nancy Bomber (Rick) of Tucson, Deborah Dols of Tucson, Linda Dols (Angela Soto) of Tucson, Steven Dols (Milly) of Willmar and Kathryn Olson (James) of Lake Park; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Jade, Benjamin, Allison, Kayla, Jack and Maggie. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (304 Sinclair Lewis Ave, Sauk Centre, MN 56378). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Holy Family School or the charity of your choice.
