Irene Trisko Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2020, at the age of 89, Irene Trisko of Sauk Centre, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Bromenshenkel and Elizabeth Bromenshenkel (Meyer); her siblings, Rita, Dorothy Bromenshenkel, Verena Steffes, Mary Gritzmacher-Langer, Esther Winters, Lawrence, Victor, Robert, Leonard and Alan Bromenshenkel; and her siblings-in-law, Leona Bromenshenkel, Vern Winters, Norman Gritzmacher, Dan Langer, Ed Steffes and Eli Lucas.
She is survived by: her former husband Raymond Carl Trisko; her grandson Joshua Dwayne Trisko; her husband Ray Trisko of Sauk Centre; her children, Dwayne Trisko (Judy) of Sauk Centre, Amy Trisko (Jamie Hooper) of Sauk Centre, Barbara Kuzara (Casey) of San Diego, Donovan Trisko (Daniela) of San Diego, David Trisko (Kristen) of Sebastopol, California, Juleen Trisko (James Schneider) of Northome and Caroline Klaphake (Steve) of Grey Eagle; her sisters, Jane Meyer (Cyril) of Sauk Centre, Evelyn Siegle (Allen) of Long Prairie and Lillian Lucas of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; and her sisters-in-law, Hildegard, Mildred and Elsie Bromenshenkel. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Later, she was treasurer of the Sinclair Lewis Foundation, not because she read any of his books or was a great admirer of the author, but because she liked the people it attracted.
