He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Kjellberg and Esther Kjellberg (Lindstrom); his daughter Crystal Sunell; his son-in-law Paul Halvorson; his sisters, Norma Erickson and Erma Swenson; and his brothers-in-law, Wade Jones, Nordie Swenson and Dale Erickson.
He is survived by: his wife Avonel Schmidt of Sauk Centre, MN; his daughter Carrie Halvorson of Belgrade, MN; and his son-in-law Kevin Sunell of Grand Rapids, MN.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cease Family Funeral Home of Blackduck (81 Main St, Blackduck, MN 56630). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
