She was predeceased by: her parents, William Engel and Ogla Engel (Skoglie); her husband John Ahrens; and her siblings, William Engel, Fred Engel, Martha Lindbeck, Sydney Engel, Archie Engel, Richard Engel, Florence Warner, Lucille Renkin and Virgil Engel.
She is survived by: her children, Bernice Lancastor (Gordie) of Bemidji, Dorothy Miller (Kent) of Annandale, Lorraine Ahrens of Andover, John Ahrens (Val) of Bemidji and Duane Ahrens (Teri) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and her sister Millie Blank of Sauk Centre. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
