She was predeceased by: her husband Ferdinand Stepan; her sons, John and Kenneth; her grandson Clint Stepan; her great grandchild Colton Deters; her daughter-in-law Lylan Stepan; her siblings, Anthony, Jr., Ione Kukla, RuthAnn Gieske and Barb Spellerberg; and her brothers-in-law, Herbert Dehler, Bob Kukla, Lloyd Eskelund, Sylvester Uphus, Bill Spellerberg and Rick Echola.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Stepan (Conny) of Willmar, Barbara Stepan of Calais, ME, Catherine Dawson of Fayetteville, GA, Ferdie Stepan of Greenwood, NE, Donna Bromenshenkel (Ron) of Sauk Centre, Maurice Stepan (Cindy) of Sauk Centre, Daniel Stepan (Jane) of Sauk Centre and Maria Rieland (Dale) of Sauk Centre; her daughter-in-law Julie Stepan of Sauk Centre; and her siblings, Edwina Dehler, Anita Eskeland, Rose Uphus, Marilyn Uphus (Fritz), Julian Goerdt (Audrie) and Louise Echola. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Holy Family School, Sauk Centre.
