With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Gieske of Sauk Centre, Minnesota, born in Melrose, Minnesota, who passed away on August 18, 2021 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentine Gieske and Louise Gieske (Tiemann); and his siblings, Billy Gieske and Judy Gieske. He is survived by: his girlfriend Lelia Ramthun of Sauk Centre; his girlfriend's children, Richie Ramthun of Litchfield, Ryan Ramthun (Faith) of Litchfield and Brittany Daddino (Josh) of Brainerd; his siblings, Randy Gieske (Lynn) of Sauk Centre, Ron Gieske (Kristi) of Sauk Centre, Debra Gieske of Melrose and Bob Gieske (Cheri) of Melrose; and also, Kinnley and Darrell. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces and nephews.
