He was predeceased by: his father Sylvester Uphus. He is survived by: his sons, Justus of Wasilla, Andrew of West Union, Nicholas (Jennifer) of Wasilla and Robert of Wasilla, Alaska; his grandsons, Liam, Tannin and Flint of Wasilla, Alaska; his mother Rose Uphus of Sauk Centre; and his siblings, Deborah Boynton (Kevin) of Big Lake, Thomas Uphus (Donna) of Sauk Centre, Karen Stack (Michael) of St. Paul, Sharon Benson (Ken) of Anoka, Mark Uphus (Barbara) of Sauk Centre, Mary Saxton of Sauk Centre, Peggy Raitor (Mark) of Sauk Centre, Cynthia Pearson (Arthur) of Tucson, Joseph Uphus (Kate) of Sauk Centre, Katie Uphus of Minneapolis and Andrea Uphus of Lewes, England. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
