He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Jennissen and Doris Jennissen (Schramel); his siblings, Francis, Peter, Raymond Jennissen, LaVerne Bokinski and Elaine Koester; and his brothers-in-law, Eugene Bokinski and Willie Wiebolt.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Jennissen of Sauk Centre; his children, Diane Ironi (Tod Zelmer) of Lincoln, Deb Vorderbruggen (Anthony) of Avon, Denise Kortan (Chip) of Sauk Centre, Don Jennissen (Kary) of Sauk Centre and Darcy Pfeffer (Phil) of Grey Eagle; his grandchildren, Kayla Counter (William), Tracy Kortan, Jacob Jennissen, Tory Jennissen and Ashley Brinegar (Phil); his great grandchild Logan; his stepgrandchildren, Tasha Vorderbruggen and James Vorderbruggen; and his sisters, Vi Wiebolt, Dorothy Duevel (Joe), Don Koester, Dorothy Jennissen, Marlene Jennissen and Denise Jennissen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Holy Family School.
