He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Holmquist and Dora Holmquist (Pettit); and his siblings, Marion Finch, Carl, Gene, Virgil, Harold, Harry and Marvin.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Porttiin; his children, Rebecca Green (Ricky), Yvonne Rajewsky, Benson and Benjamin Holmquist (Denise); his grandchildren, Heather Zierden (Tony), Brent Green, Sarah Plasky (Aaron), Robin Holmquist, Anna Herke (Justin), Kelsey and Ian Rajewsky; his great grandchildren, Brionna, Lily Zierden, Maisie Herke and Molly Plasky; and his siblings, Pearl Radeug and Albert Holmquist (Kay).
