He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurin Peterson and Amanda Peterson (Aamodt); his godson Timothy Tingstad; his siblings, Donald, Roger Peterson and Beverly Ann Tingstad; his parents-in-law, Nick and Barbara Scheet; and his brother-in-law Ken Scheet.
He is survived by: his wife Annella Peterson of Sauk Centre; his children, Mark Peterson (Terri) of Nashville, Marshall Peterson (Diane) of Omaha, Marlo Peterson (Denise) of Prior Lake and Eric Peterson (Heather) of Grey Eagle; his grandchildren, Zee, Savanna, Hannah, Grace and Ben; his sister Janice Blessum (Roger) of Prior Lake; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Peterson of Fargo, Priscilla Scheet of Beaverton, Oregon, Paul Tingstad of Golden Valley and Alcuin Scheet (Val) of Bismarck. He is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
