He was predeceased by: his parents, August Knoll and Theresa Knoll (Rolfes); his daughter Mary Balder; and his siblings, Frederick, Clara, Esther, Sylvester and Ellen.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Kuklok; his daughters, Carol Barrett and Barbara Marquardt; his grandchildren, Hannah Balder, Joseph Balder, Brett Balder, Zachary Marquardt, Madeline Marquardt and Emily Barrett; and his sisters, Arlene Lynaugh and Joyce Kuklok. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
