She was predeceased by: her parents, Marko Vrtar and Johanna Vrtar (Ogrinc); her husband Ren J. Pearson; and her siblings, Jacob "Jack", Marko Vrtar, Josephine Vrtar, Johanna "Honey" Mendel and Mary Zupan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joanne Sufka, Nadine Piasecki (Tom) and Renee Dowsett (Chip). She is also survived by two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church or St. Francis Xavier Catholic School in Sartell.
