She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Loewen and Ellen Loewen (Johnson); her son Stephen Mattson; her granddaughter Amber Lynn; and her brothers, John Loewen, David Loewen and Peter Loewen.
She is survived by: her husband Neil Mattson; her children, Deanna Mattson-Millar (Ross) of Clarissa, MN, Mary Mattson, Margaret Stokes of Anacoco, LA, Scott Mattson (Jo) and Julie Fischer (Duane); and her sisters, Shirley Klingbeil of Stillwater, MN and Ruth Klingbeil of Topeka, KS.. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
