He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Carlson and Berniece Carlson (Paulson). He is survived by: his wife Connie Peterson; his children, Christine Lawrence (John) of Guthrie, OK, Catherine Martinez (Edward) of Natalia, TX, Caroline Pekarek (David) of Annapolis, MD and Paul Carlson of Guthrie, OK; and his grandchildren, Anissa, Ashley, Warren and Annabeth. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.

I have many great memories of our years together in St. Cloud...teaching, boating on the Mississippi, visiting and spending time with your wonderful family, and the many hunting trips Kent, Jim Johnson, and I made to my family farm in Iowa.
