He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Strack and Rose Strack (Lommel); his son Daniel Strack; and his parents-in-law, Daniel and Alma Lardy.

He is survived by: his spouse Lou Ann Strack (Lardy); his daughters, Michelle Kerber (Strack) and Mary Kaye Peterson (Strack); his grandchildren, Drew Kerber, Christian Kerber, Kara (Peterson), Henderson (Tim), Holly (Peterson) and Frischmon (Andrew); and his sisters, Bernelda Voigt (Strack) and Darlene Lauermann (Strack). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.
