He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lafrentz and Flora Lafrentz (Markgraf); his former wife Mavis Zimmer; his siblings, Milo, Lorna Braun and Verla Wiegers; and his brother-in-law Burton Bolter.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadine "Bernie" Bolter of Sartell; and his children, Bonnie Schmidt (Keith) of Winsted, Terry Lewis (Steve) of Greenfield, Patricia Lafrentz of Austin, Susan Shamekh (Saleh) of Dubai and Joel Lafrentz (Traci) of St. Cloud. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
