He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thorsten and Adeline Thorsten (Stumvoll); his brother Laverne 'Jack Thorsten; and his siblings-in-law, Basil Watercott, Myron Moulzolf, Jerome Gapinski and MaryAnn Watercott.
He is survived by: his wife Georgianne Kasner; his brother Knife River; his daughters, Jennifer Paulson (Bruce) and Gina Ranweiler (Jamie); his grandchildren, Samantha Paulson (Chris), Morgan Paulson, Bryce Paulson, Kyle Paulson, Steven Ranweiler and Sarah Ranweiler; his siblings, Marvin, Marilyn Johnson (Roger), Danny (Debbie), Richard (Joanie), Darlene Kadlac (John) and Terry (Beth); and his sisters-in-law, Diane Thorsten, Dorothy Moulzolf and Dianne Gapinski.
