Evelyn Carol Guentzel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Carol Guentzel of Sartell, Minnesota, who passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Nelson and Alice Nelson; her daughter Jo; and her siblings, Virginia Day, Janet Soltau, Meredith Nelson and Marcia Proulx.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Guentzel of Sartell, MN; her daughters, Melanie Guentzel (Dan Schlagel) and Heather Frank (Scott) of Los Angeles, CA; her grandchildren, Henrik and Annika; and her brother John Nelson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Association of University Women, Minnesota State Mankato, St. Cloud State University or St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin.
