We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2024, at the age of 95, Dorothy J. Slimmer of Sartell, Minnesota, born in Elrosa, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Meyer and Anna Meyer (Waldherr); her husband Donald R. Slimmer of Joseph's Catholic Church; her daughter Dawn Slimmer; her son-in-law Fran Millner; and her siblings, Denis, Anthony "Tony" Meyer, Rita Meyer, Rosemary Kalkman and Cyrilla Meyer.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Slimmer of Little Falls, David Slimmer (Michele) of Becker, Dale Slimmer (Roxann) of Box Elder, SD, Dean Slimmer of Little Falls, Diane Slimmer (Lester Dax) of St. Cloud, Debra Millner of Sartell, Dory Slimmer, Dana Slimmer of Mounds View, Danette "Danni" Brewer (Woody) of Tampa, FL and Denise Kirchner (Doug) of Cottage Grove; her sister JoAnn Rutter of Loomis, CA; her sister-in-law Carol Meyer of Mpls, MN; her grandchildren, Amy Haider (Andy), Marc Hiemenz, Pam Wensel (Shawn), Melissa "Missy" Millner, Breanna Cecile "Charlie", Michael Slimmer (Christine Kahl), Jocelyn LeBlanc (Andrew), Jonathon Slimmer (Abby Kraft), Jeff Kirchner (Jayden), Jamie Kirchner, Alex Brewer, Kristina VanHove (Ted) and Sean Flahave (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Anna Vrchota, Cole Wensel, Lauren Wensel, Ryleigh LeBlanc, Paige Kirchner, Stanley Kirchner, Taylor Flahave, Carter VanHove, Alexis Anderson, Avery Flahave, Beau Flahave and Jackson Flahave; and her niece Sandy Kay Meyer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
