It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris V. Schefers of Sartell, Minnesota, who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Raphael and Agnes Ann Lahr (Witzman); and her siblings, Evelyn Asmus, Eugene Lahr, George Lahr, Lawrence Lahr, Leo Lahr, Joan Schefers, Delphine Erkens and Kenneth Lahr.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Leander Schefers of Sartell; her children, Lyle (Becky) of St. Stephen, Lori of St. Stephen, Kevin of Rice and Kelly of Sartell; and her siblings, Agnes Rothstein of Waite Park and Michael Lahr of St. Joseph. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (219 2nd St N, Sartell, MN 56377).
