She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Girtz and Inez Girtz; her parent-in-law Herbert; her daughter Teena Tretter; her nephew Ronald Girtz; and her niece Joyce Girtz.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald of Hillman; her daughter Terry Athman (Steve) of Hillman; her grandsons, Kyler and Darren Athman of Hillman; her brothers, Edward Girtz (Roseann) of Hillman and Kenneth Girtz of Hillman; and her sisters-in-law, Jeanette Wuellner (John) of Little Falls and JoAnn Hebler (Larry) of Hillman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In 1991 she started working at Jerome Marshik CPA in Pierz, MN until 2011, when she retired due to Alzheimer's.
