He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert C. Swenson and Olga A. Swenson (Ronholt); and his sister Eileen Ellingson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Swenson of Rice, MN; his children, Jodi Bushey (Jim) of Vergas, MN, Jeffrey Swenson (Cheryl) of Rogers, MN, Gary Swenson (Angela) of Rice and William Swenson (Tina) of Carver, MN; and his siblings, Lorna Neuhaus of Lemon Grove, CA, Robert Swenson of New Hope, MN, Jerrilyn Hoekstra of River Falls, WI and Linette Nelson of Plymouth, MN. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waters Church (1227 Pine Cone Rd N, Sartell, MN 56377). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
