With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet Jean Johnsen of Sandstone, Minnesota, who passed away on September 17, 2023 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Violet Jean Johnsen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Ploeger and Lena Ploeger (Vork); her husband Bobbie Johnsen; her son Terry; and her siblings, Vera, Fannie, Bob and Johnny.
She is survived by: her children, Doug of Marcell, MN, Kerry Joy (Gene) of Sandstone, MN and Jeff of Finlayson, MN; and her sister June (Arnie) of Elgin, IL. She is also survived by six grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; many wonderful nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to St. Croix Hospice.
