He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond, Sr. Brecht and Frances Brecht; and his siblings, Elvera, Audrey and Raymond, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Magdalin Ripplinger; and his children, Sherri Hoheisel (Rick), Susan Maas (Richard) and Jeffrey Brecht (Lisa). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
