He was predeceased by: his grandmother Nina Benjamin; his parents, Olaf W. Thomas Sr. and Hildred Thomas; and his brothers, David Thomas and Allen "Porky" Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandy" Thomas; his children, Paul Thomas, Fawn Thomas, Todd Thomas, Dana Davis, Carrie Anderson, Nina Thomas, Michelle Thomas of Olaf, W. Thomas III, Brandy Thomas, Jessa Anderson and Terrance Benjamin; and his siblings, Lola Morgan, Floreen Graves, Christine Costello, Mike Thomas, Joe Thomas, Terry Thomas and Angel Thomas. He is also survived by many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
A wake was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Aazhoomog Community Center (45741 Grace Lake Rd, Sandstone, MN 55072). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
