He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Rey and Alice Rey (Brown); his sister Irene Meredith; his siblings-in-law, Eliot Glassheim and Arlene Brateng; and his nephews, Walter Rey, Jr. and Kevin Brateng.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Timothy Rey of Grantsburg, WI and Laurie Fredricks (Delmont) of Ramsey, MN; his siblings, Dyan Rey of Grand Forks, ND, Donald Rey (Agnes) of Minot, ND and Walter Rey (Nancy) of Ohio; and his close friends, Bill and Barb Wojciechowski of Badger, MN.. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
