He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Hlebain and Agnes Hlebain (Peternell); his son Thomas; his grandson Christopher Platz; and his siblings, Valentine, Ludmilla Omann, Frank, Agnes Legatt, Mary Hlebain and Josephine Siampas.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Traut; and his children, Carol Hlebain, Charles, Pete (Denae), Patrick (MiSoon), Marge Zylla (Len), Jesse (Laura Evenson), Rebecca Hlebain-Aaker (Doug), Donna Rank (Dan) and Joe (Stephanie). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
