He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon L. Brown and Blanche Brown (Wojciechowski). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Gutormson; his children, Laurie Brown (Bill DeVore) and Tom Brown (Dawn); his grandchildren, AnnMarie Brown and Thomas Brown; and his siblings, Virginia Brey (Richard), Suzanne Frederick (Kerry), Richard Brown (Mary) and Dolores Haugen (Larry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the Inclusion Body Myositis Foundation (IBS Foundation Donation) .
