It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Solberg (Saint Peter, Minnesota), born in Spring Grove, Minnesota, who passed away on April 25, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jeffrey; and his siblings, Alden, Naomi, Charlie, Paul, Robert, Helen and Lyla.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Stacy Markert (John) of Shakopee, MN and Marc (Mary Kay) of Story City, IA; his granddaughters, Amanda Markert, Katie Markert and Alynn Solberg; and his siblings, Margaret, Judy, David and Don.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Lutheran Church, Gustavus Adolphus Men's Hockey or Mayo Mankato Palliative Care.
