He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Widdifield and Laurel Widdifield; and his grandsons, Micah and Michael. He is survived by: his wife Donna Zeller; his children, Vicki Hermanson (Dave), David Widdifield and Jodee Hanson (Robert); his grandchildren, Michelle, Allan, Jason, Tyler, Jessica and Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Zachary, Ryan, Ryker, Lyara, Arya, Andre and Flynn. He is also survived by 3 sisters.
