He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kant and Emily Kant; his former wife Irene Sidlik; his brothers, Walter Kant, Donald Kant and Ralph Kant; and his siblings-in-law, Gordon Goede, Helen Kant and Dorothy Kant.
He is survived by: his wife Roxie of St. Peter; his children, Timothy Kant (Susan) of West Allis, WI, Judith Kant, Marsha Hooge (John) of LeRoy, MN, Janice Rauh (Matthew) of Arlington, MN, Rev. William Kant (Jill) of Vallejo, CA and Daniel Kant of Apple Valley, MN; his sister Mary Anne Goede of Milwaukee, WI; and his sister-in-law Carol Kant of Minnetonka, MN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
