He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Thelemann and Mary Thelemann (Lang); his brother Dr. Art Thelemann Jr.; his sister-in-law Bern Thelemann; his brother LeRoy Thelemann; his brother-in-law Larry Ostrowski; his godson Jason Fitterer; his great grandchild Elliott Kelm; and his niece Katherine Guettler (Thelemann).
He is survived by: his wife Everilde "Evie" Fitterer of St. Peter; his children, Ann McCabe (Russ) of Sleepy Eye, Mary Engfer (Paul) of New Prague, Tom Thelemann (Cindy) of Kilkenny, Jim Thelemann of Shakopee, Chris Thelemann of Holmen, WI, Pat Thelemann (Kathy) of Prior Lake, Joe Thelemann (Trudy) of St. Peter and Liz Zuniga (Walter) of Jordan; his siblings, Eleanor Ostrowski of Duluth and Gene Thelemann (Rita) of Edina; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Thelemann of Cleveland, MN and Margaret Taylor of Minneapolis. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Mayo Clinic Hospice, and Benedictine Care Center/Benedictine Living Community, St Peter.
