She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Pagel and Effie Pagel (McDonald); her husband Oliver Compart; her daughter Barb; her son-in-law Jeff; and her siblings, Herb Pagel and Ida Quinn.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Zuehlke (Larry), Nancy Solberg, Marj Hagen, Steve Compart, Sue Compart and Paul Compart; and her sister Lily Anderson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Mayo Hospice or Nicollet County 4-H.
Mary was born on April 8, 1931 in Lake Prairie Township, Nicollet County to Arthur and Effie (McDonald) Pagel.
