It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlene Ruth Von Ohlen of Saint Peter, Minnesota, born in Ottertail, Minnesota, who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Wentzel and Edith Wentzel (Wegener); her former husband Leo Von Ohlen; her brother Mike Wentzel; her sister-in-law Lorna Wentzel; her son-in-law Joel Olsen; her grandson Daniel Runck; and her grandson-in-law Shaun Moore.

She is survived by: her daughters, Barb Johnson (Mike) of Nipomo, CA, Kathy Runck (Rae) of New Ulm, MN, Sharon Olsen of St. Peter, MN and Julie Hendrycks (Judd) of North Mankato, MN; her granddaughter Jenna Alipaz (Joel); her great grandchildren, Jaxson, Mason and Hudson; her grandchild Carissa Regan (Charles); her great grandchildren, Olivia and Kinsley; her grandchildren, Josh Johnson and Briana Hulke; her great grandchildren, Madi and Ashtyn Moore; her grandson Ben Olsen (Sam); her great grandchild Luella; her grandsons, Eric Olsen and Nick Rengstorf (Chalsey); her great grandchildren, Colton, Zoie and Justin; her grandchild Jessie Dormody; her great grandchildren, Ethan and Elise; her siblings, Carol Volk (Rod), Eunice Timm (Bob) and Wayne Wentzel (Susan); and her sister-in-law Virginia Wentzel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) in honor of her great granddaughter, Kinsley Regan, St. Peter Lutheran Church, or donor's choice.
