It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilynn M. Schmit (Saint Peter, Minnesota), born in Fosston, Minnesota, who passed away on August 1, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Selmer Sorby and Irene Sorby (Sundrud); her husband John Phillip Schmit; her children, Joreen Mettler (Larry) and Dwight Schmit; her brother Ronald Sorby; her brother-in-law Edward Miller; and her nephews, Tate Miller and Scott Hinden.
She is survived by: her children, Dale (Susan) of St. Peter, Lois Schroeder (Thomas) of Nicollet, Lynn Ulvog (Jerry) and Jodi Corrow (Michael) of Ft. Ripley; her daughter-in-law Cindy Schmit of St. Peter; and her sisters, Donna Hinden (Larry) and Janice Miller. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
