In loving memory of James C. Wendroth of Saint Peter, Minnesota, who departed this world on December 31, 2024 at the age of 84. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Marie Wendroth and Kelm; his daughter Penni; his siblings, Sylvia Hickman (Denzil) and Arthur Wendroth; and his in-laws, Dennis Sillman, Diana Sanford (Mike), Kisor, Dale Sillman, Marsha Tollefson, Patty McLain and Tom Headlee.
He is survived by: his wife Karen M. Sillman; his children, Tammi Bustad (Brian) of Rose Creek, MN, Terri Wendroth of Liberty, NC, James S. Wendroth (Anne) of St. Peter, Daniel Wendroth (Shelly) of Austin, Patsi Belden of Austin, Kari Leonard (Matt) of St. Peter, Jason Wendroth (Molly) of St. Peter and Jamie Wendroth of St. Peter; his siblings, Charles Wendroth of Litchfield, LuVern Bredeck (Leon) of Delano and Chris Wendroth of Eden Valley; and his siblings-in-law, Millie Wendroth, Doreen Headlee, Laurie Bonsack, Richard McLain and Mike Tollefson. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (1114 W Traverse Rd, St Peter, MN 56082). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
