He is survived by: his children, Reid of Mankato, Brent of Colorado and Kelley Carr (David) of St. Peter; his grandchildren, Andrew Carr (Elizabeth), Angela McDonough (Terry) and Jamie Alsleben; his great grandchildren, Rachel McDonough and Abigail Lee Carr; and his siblings, Helen Haynes and Gerald.

“So sorry to hear of Harry's death. He was a friend of many years at Gustavus. I'd have coffee occasionally with Harry and some of the guys in the shops, and we always had a lot of fun with jokes and stories. Harry would drop by my office in Nobel Hall to say hi and how-are-ya? and I always enjoyed his company. A fine fellow and an excellent plumber with much more common sense that most of my fellow profs. In the last years I'd ask Reid about him at Best Buy. Joy in Harry's memory. Larry Potts”
